Typical Architectural Specifications for Duschqueen Framed Enclosures

Part 1: General

Provide a framed tub or shower enclosure as manufactured by: Duschqueen,Inc., 461 West Main St., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Substitution of similar products by other manufacturers will be considered, only as an equal substitute for the product specified.

Furnish all materials, equipment and service required for the fabrication of a custom Duschqueen enclosure, specified herein and/or indicated on the appropriate working drawings. Specifications shall include:

1. 1/4" glass in appropriate solid brass frames, pre-finished.

2. In-line panels, return panels or buttress panels, as per design.

3. All necessary installation and mounting hardware.

Part II: Product

1. All glass shall be 1/4" clear tempered unless otherwise specified. All glass edges to be seamed.

2. Full length piano hinge in matching finish.

3. All magnetic strikes and vinyl wipes will be provided. Pulls to be of solid brass and custom finished to match.

4. All mounting hardware shall be provided for the installation of all doors and panels,

Part III: Execution

All Duschqueen products shall be installed in a professional manner. All glass and metal channel shall be installed plumb and level.

All doors, panels, and flip transoms shall be installed in accordance to manufacturer's layout drawing.

All doors and panels shall be adjusted to provide even reveals.

All glass surfaces shall be left totally clean, before leaving job site.
